Its nominal diameter is 1.20mm, but a square profile is not directly equivalent to a round string of the same stated gauge. Do not select it solely because the number looks thin.

Stringing guidance

GrappleSnake recommends approximately 2 lb (0.9kg) below your normal polyester reference tension. Adjust clamp pressure for the square profile and avoid crushing the string.
