GrappleSnake Excellent Purple Single Set (1.25)

Excellent Purple is a 1.25mm pentagonal co-poly with a balanced performance profile: useful spin, controlled power, good tension stability and a comparatively comfortable response. It is one of the more accessible shaped strings in the GrappleSnake range.

Performance profile

The five-sided profile adds ball grip without producing an overly aggressive launch. The response is controlled enough for confident acceleration, but more forgiving than the brand’s firmer tour-oriented strings.

What it feels like

Clean, moderately crisp and easy to understand. Excellent Purple makes sense for players who want the benefits of a shaped poly without moving immediately to a very firm or specialised setup.
