GrappleSnake Aspera Triplum Single Set (1.19)

Aspera Triplum is GrappleSnake’s most texture-driven spin string. A square 1.19mm profile, abrasive surface and diamond-shaped indentations combine three separate mechanisms for ball grip, while the formulation is tuned to retain more comfort and power than the geometry suggests.

Performance profile

The sharp square edges provide direct bite, the abrasive surface increases friction at contact, and the indentations add another layer of texture. The result is a high-spin response with a more energetic launch than the brand’s firmer control strings.

What it feels like

More elastic and comfortable than a typical thin square poly, with noticeable pocketing and useful free depth. It is still a shaped performance string, so players who prefer a very low, linear launch may be better served by Tour Sniper or Tour M8.
