GrappleSnake Alpha Single Set (1.25)

Alpha is the softer, more powerful side of GrappleSnake’s tour-level polyester range. Its pentagonal profile adds controlled ball grip, while the formulation is tuned for a more elastic, comfortable response than Tour Sniper.

Performance profile

Alpha combines useful free depth with strong directional control. The five-sided shape supports spin without creating an extreme launch angle, making it a practical choice for players who want a shaped poly that remains predictable when accelerating through the ball.

What it feels like

Soft for a performance poly, with noticeable pocketing and a clean release. It is livelier than Tour Sniper or Tour M8, but remains stable enough for confident full swings.

Best suited to

• Intermediate to advanced players wanting a softer shaped poly.
• Players who want more power than a traditional control string.
• Firmer frames that benefit from additional pocketing.
• Players moving from softer polys toward a more performance-oriented setup.

Consider another string if

Choose Tour Sniper for lower power and a firmer response. Tour Mako is the smoother, round alternative if predictable launch and easy string movement are the priority.
